Medium-bodied coffee from India with marks of mint and herbs. Indian Mysore is an Arabica bean that's been grown, picked, and selected by hand in the Indian peninsula of Karataka. The result is a medium-bodied coffee with strong marks of mint and fresh aromatic herbs.Gianni Frasi is one of Italys premier coffee roasters. He learned the coffee business from his unlce, Giovanni Erbisti, who began roasting in his 1,500-foot apartment in 1947. Believing that too dark a roast masks the subtleties and fine aromas of a top-quality bean, Erbisti insisted on roasting coffee to the color of a tunica di Monaco, a monks tonic. Anything darker, he claimed, was burnt.
Today, Frasi continues his uncles coffeemaking tradition in the same apartment in Verona, making as much coffee in a year as Starbucks makes in a day. Giamaica Caffe is used in Italys Finest restaurants.
