Summary: Good Cup of Coffee
Comment: Having had two drip coffee makers break this year (one lasted 3 months, the other about 6), we decided to go back to a percolator. The aroma is great and the coffee stays hot. There are a lot of grounds in the brew unless a paper filter is used, although the holes in the basket are very small. It's messier than the drip pots, but it is still working so I'm happy. Ground coffee that didn't taste right in the drip pot tastes pretty good perked.

Comment: This is a great percolator. It takes longer to perk than my older Farberware but I'm hoping it LASTS longer. It's nice and streamlined and easy to clean. I like it lots!

Comment: always bought Farerware pots but when the second one in 5 years died I decided they weren't the work horses they once were. Read the Presto reviews and gave it a try. This percolator makes 2 full pots every day and each cup is as hot and tasty as the first. Had it for about 3-4 months now and I have zero complaints. My coffe is ready every bit as fast as it was with Farberware, when we linger over our coffee I don't have to worry about the pot shutting down and it cleans up great. Good solid steel, not cheaply made.

Comment: No toxic plastic. Stays warm all day, can even unplug and warm-up another great cup of coffee. The taste is way better than the typical plastic coffee maker.
